This Blue and White ‘Floral’ Deep Plate represents the artistic and technical brilliance of the Yuan imperial kilns, which pioneered the classic underglazed blue-and-white tradition. The interior is adorned with lotus and peony blossoms amid scrolling foliage, symbols of purity, honor, and eternal prosperity in Chinese art.
Painted in radiant underglazed cobalt blue, each motif flows with the dynamic brushwork unique to early Yuan craftsmanship. Each plate is handcrafted using authentic imperial kiln methods, painted with natural mineral pigments, and fired up to 1280 °C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond.
This piece embodies the Yuan era’s early fusion of Chinese floral symbolism and Western-Asian cobalt pigment technology, giving rise to porcelains renowned for their vivid tone, rhythmic energy, and imperial grace.

Description
Large dish painted in underglaze blue. Inside it is painted with concentric bands of decoration combining painting in underglaze blue on white and white reserved on a blue ground. The outer is decorated with two circles of chrysanthemums reserved in white on a blue ground, and the inner ring/base features a "flower within a flower" theme.

The returned/exchanged product must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. Special order items cannot be returned.
As soon as you return your item to us and it's received into our system, we will expeditiously send a refund request to your bank. Please note that while the funds are instantly deducted from our account, some banks may take 5-7 business days to process and post these refunds to your account.
