Qing Dynasty Jiaqing Emperor (1796–1820) official kiln porcelain vase and cover. This Famille Rose ‘Dragon and Phoenix’ Vase embodies the essence of imperial harmony and celestial power. The five-clawed dragon, symbol of the emperor, and the phoenix, emblem of the empress, rise amid swirling clouds — together representing balance, prosperity, and eternal unity.

Each piece is handcrafted using traditional imperial kiln techniques and natural mineral pigments, then fired up to 1280°C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond. The radiant enamels and exquisite detailing capture the refined artistry and symbolic majesty that flourished in the Jiaqing imperial court.

Description

The ovoid body rising from a short foot to a straight neck, brightly painted with a dragon and phoenix amidst blossoming peonies borne on meandering leafy scrolls, framed by pendent ruyi heads above and a lappet band below, the foot with a keyfret band and the neck with stiff leaves, the domed cover similarly decorated.

All items are handcrafted by folk artists and craftmen. It usually takes about 3 months to finish a product. We kindly suggest that you contact us before you place an order. Each order is carefully inspected and packaged before it leaves our warehouse to avoid damage during transit.

These handcrafted masterpieces are not allowed for return, except for quality issues, damage, or wrong items upon the receipt of items.

The returned/exchanged product must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. Special order items cannot be returned.

As soon as you return your item to us and it's received into our system, we will expeditiously send a refund request to your bank. Please note that while the funds are instantly deducted from our account, some banks may take 5-7 business days to process and post these refunds to your account.
