This Blue and White ‘Lotus and Artemisia Leaf’ Baluster Jar and Cover reflects the serene refinement and technical brilliance of the Kangxi imperial kilns. The lotus, emblem of purity and spiritual enlightenment, is intertwined with artemisia leaves, long regarded as symbols of protection, renewal, and longevity in Chinese tradition. The balanced design, painted in radiant cobalt blue beneath a clear glaze, embodies the harmony and discipline central to Kangxi-era porcelain artistry.
Each jar is handcrafted using authentic imperial kiln techniques, painted with natural cobalt-blue mineral pigments, and fired up to 1280 °C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond. During this golden age of craftsmanship, Kangxi’s artisans blended classical Chinese brushwork with Western shading and composition methods, achieving depth, clarity, and a luminous three-dimensional effect.

Description
The heavily potted jar is decorated in vibrant cobalt-blue with lotus pond. The domed cover is decorated with the same, and is surmounted by a pearl-shaped finial.

The returned/exchanged product must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. Special order items cannot be returned.
As soon as you return your item to us and it's received into our system, we will expeditiously send a refund request to your bank. Please note that while the funds are instantly deducted from our account, some banks may take 5-7 business days to process and post these refunds to your account.
