Qing Dynasty Yongzheng Emperor (1723–1735) official kiln porcelain bowl. This Painted Enamel ‘Orchid and Rocks’ Bowl on Yellow Ground captures the serene refinement and intellectual elegance of the Yongzheng imperial court. The orchid, a timeless emblem of nobility, humility, and integrity, rises gracefully among scholarly garden rocks, symbolizing moral strength and inner harmony. The imperial yellow ground, reserved for the Emperor, conveys authority, enlightenment, and virtue.
Each bowl is handcrafted using traditional imperial painted-enamel techniques and natural mineral pigments, then fired up to 1280 °C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond. During the Yongzheng reign, artisans perfected this art by mixing Chinese brushwork with Western painting and color technology, achieving lifelike depth, soft tonal transitions, and a radiant finish that defined the era’s finest Falangcai works.
This porcelain masterpiece reflects the imperial balance of artistry, scholarship, and virtue, epitomizing the cultivated grace of Yongzheng’s reign.

Description
The bowl is finely potted with thin rounded walls rising to a slightly everted rim, exquisitely painted on the exterior with enamels of rich, vibrant tones depicting orchids growing and blooming from underneath rocks, all reserved against a dazzling yellow ground.

The returned/exchanged product must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. Special order items cannot be returned.
As soon as you return your item to us and it's received into our system, we will expeditiously send a refund request to your bank. Please note that while the funds are instantly deducted from our account, some banks may take 5-7 business days to process and post these refunds to your account.
