This Large Wucai ‘Dragon’ Beaker Vase exemplifies the grandeur and brilliance of late Ming imperial porcelain. Painted in the Wucai (Five-Color) palette, the design features five-clawed imperial dragons soaring amidst waves and clouds, symbolizing strength, divine power, and the Emperor’s celestial authority. The beaker form, tall and flared, accentuates both majesty and motion, making it a hallmark of Wanli-era craftsmanship.
Each vase is handcrafted using authentic imperial kiln techniques, painted with natural mineral pigments, and fired up to 1280 °C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond. During the Wanli reign, porcelain artisans achieved mastery in combining underglaze blue with overglaze red, green, and yellow enamels, creating exceptional color contrast and visual depth unique to the Wucai tradition.
This masterpiece reflects the imperial spirit of power, balance, and auspicious fortune, standing as one of the most distinguished expressions of Ming dynasty artistry.

Description
The vase is boldly decorated on the central, bulbous section with four quatrefoil panels, each containing a five-clawed dragon amidst flames, reserved on a ground of stylized floral scroll, which is repeated on the neck and on the interior of the mouth rim. The tall foot is decorated with birds amidst fruiting trees. The broad bands of decoration are separated by various narrow decorative borders

These handcrafted masterpieces are not allowed for return, except for quality issues, damage, or wrong items upon the receipt of items.
The returned/exchanged product must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. Special order items cannot be returned.
As soon as you return your item to us and it's received into our system, we will expeditiously send a refund request to your bank. Please note that while the funds are instantly deducted from our account, some banks may take 5-7 business days to process and post these refunds to your account.
