This Blue and White ‘Dragon’ Dice Bowl showcases the technical mastery and artistic strength of the Xuande imperial kilns. Decorated with a five-clawed imperial dragon amid rolling waves and stylized clouds, it symbolizes imperial authority, vitality, and cosmic balance.
Painted in vivid underglazed cobalt blue, the brushwork demonstrates the depth and energy characteristic of Xuande porcelain—recognized as one of the Ming dynasty’s finest blue-and-white periods. Each bowl is handcrafted using traditional imperial kiln techniques, painted with natural mineral pigments, and fired up to 1280 °C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond.
The Xuande reign saw an artistic synthesis of Chinese imperial symbolism with early Western cobalt pigment technology, creating porcelain that radiates power, harmony, and enduring sophistication.

Description
Sturdily potted with deep rounded sides, the exterior brilliantly is painted with two striding five-clawed dragons chasing after one another amidst wispy clouds in vivid tones of cobalt blue, between a band of lappets encircling the foot and a border of crashing waves.

The returned/exchanged product must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. Special order items cannot be returned.
