This Blue and White ‘Three Friends of Winter’ Bowl exemplifies the artistic purity and disciplined elegance of the Xuande imperial kilns. The design depicts pine, bamboo, and plum blossoms — known collectively as the Three Friends of Winter (Suihan Sanyou) — symbolizing resilience, integrity, and perseverance in adversity.
Rendered in deep underglazed cobalt blue, each stroke reflects the exceptional control and precision achieved during the Xuande period, a golden age for early Ming blue-and-white porcelain. Each bowl is handcrafted using authentic imperial kiln techniques, painted with natural mineral pigments, and fired up to 1280 °C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond.
The Xuande reign marked a turning point in porcelain artistry, combining Chinese moral symbolism with early Western cobalt sources, resulting in works that radiate both spiritual grace and imperial authority.

The returned/exchanged product must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. Special order items cannot be returned.
As soon as you return your item to us and it's received into our system, we will expeditiously send a refund request to your bank. Please note that while the funds are instantly deducted from our account, some banks may take 5-7 business days to process and post these refunds to your account.
