This Imperial Carved Qingbai Glaze ‘Peony’ Prunus Porcelain Vase (Meiping) exemplifies the refined artistry and tranquil elegance of the Song imperial kilns. The well-potted high-shouldered body tapers to a slightly spreading foot, and is carved with scrolling peonies all under a crackled glaze of pale aquamarine tone.
