Song Dynasty (960 – 1279) official kiln transparent pale blue porcelain vase. This Imperial Carved Qingbai Glaze ‘Peony’ Prunus Porcelain Vase (Meiping) exemplifies the refined artistry and tranquil elegance of the Song imperial kilns. The translucent pale-blue Qingbai glaze, delicately carved with blooming peonies, reflects the dynasty’s pursuit of purity, beauty, and poetic restraint—values admired by the cultured scholars and courtiers of the era.

Each vase is handcrafted using traditional imperial kiln techniques, carved by master artisans, glazed with natural mineral pigments, and fired up to 1280 °C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond. The soft jade-like tone and harmonious form capture the Song ideal of subtle perfection and spiritual serenity.
