Qing Dynasty Qianlong Emperor (1736 – 1795) official kiln porcelain vase. This Imperial Celadon-Glazed Reticulated Porcelain Vase Decorated with Fish exemplifies the Qianlong era’s fusion of innovation and refinement. The reticulated openwork structure, layered with a translucent celadon glaze, reveals swimming fish beneath—symbolizing abundance, vitality, and continuous prosperity in imperial culture.

Each vase is handcrafted using traditional imperial kiln techniques, carved and reticulated by skilled artisans, then painted with natural mineral pigments and fired up to 1280 °C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond. The combination of pierced craftsmanship and luminous celadon tone reflects the Qianlong Emperor’s fascination with technical mastery and poetic symbolism.
