Qing Dynasty Qianlong Emperor (1736–1795) official kiln porcelain vase. This Imperial Doucai ‘Bajixiang’ Vase exemplifies the pinnacle of Qing court artistry, featuring the Eight Buddhist Emblems (Bajixiang) gracefully rendered in Doucai (Contrasted Colors) — a harmonious fusion of underglazed cobalt blue and overglazed enamels. Each emblem symbolizes auspicious blessings of peace, prosperity, longevity, and enlightenment.

Handcrafted using authentic imperial kiln techniques, painted with natural mineral pigments, and fired up to 1280 °C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond, this masterpiece captures the refined elegance and spiritual symbolism that defined Qianlong’s porcelain perfection.

The vase is unique in shape, with bamboo-shaped ears curved along the shoulders. Decorated and gilt with the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang, amongst densely scrolling lotus below a band of ruyi heads.

The returned/exchanged product must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. Special order items cannot be returned.

As soon as you return your item to us and it's received into our system, we will expeditiously send a refund request to your bank. Please note that while the funds are instantly deducted from our account, some banks may take 5-7 business days to process and post these refunds to your account.

About “Guan-Er Vase”

Guan-Er vase is one of the porcelain vases fired by ancient artisans. It was popular during the Song Dynasty. The shape of the vessel imitates that of a Han Dynasty pitcher, with a long straight neck, a flat rounded abdomen, a rounded foot, and vertical tubular lugs symmetrically attached to both sides of the neck.
