This Imperial Lidded Vessel stands as a magnificent Underglazed Red Porcelain Jar, demonstrating the technical daring and artistic sophistication cultivated under the Yuan Dynasty. Its rare dual-color design—uniting cobalt blue with copper-red underglaze—marks one of the earliest triumphs of Blue & White Porcelains, where temperature precision and pigment chemistry reached unprecedented complexity.

The decoration features scrolling flowers and auspicious emblems executed with dynamic confidence, reflecting the spiritual balance sought during the Yuan Dynasty. Each vessel is meticulously handcrafted using imperial kiln methods, painted with natural cobalt and copper pigments, and fired up to 1280°C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond, achieving the vivid contrast that defines the prestige of Blue & White Porcelains while preserving the noble form of an imperial Underglazed Red Porcelain Jar.

A hallmark of ceramic innovation, this masterpiece illustrates the cultural synthesis that shaped the Yuan Dynasty—fusing Chinese symbolic motifs with imported Western-Asian pigment technologies. The interplay of luminous cobalt and radiant copper-red elevates the aesthetic power of the Underglazed Red Porcelain Jar, securing its place as one of the most influential creations in the evolution of Blue & White Porcelains.
