Private Inquiry
Private Works & Commissions
In addition to our core collection, a limited number of private works and bespoke commissions are undertaken each year.
These pieces represent a more in-depth exploration of imperial porcelain traditions—developed through extended research, refined craftsmanship, and close collaboration with highly experienced master artisans. The process draws upon historical court methodologies while allowing for thoughtful interpretation within contemporary contexts.
Each work is individually handcrafted through a highly intricate, multi-stage process rooted in traditional porcelain techniques, often involving numerous sequential stages of forming, refinement, glazing, and multiple kiln firings. Depending on scale and complexity, completion may require several months of continuous artisanal work.
Due to the nature of this process, each piece is inherently unique.
Context & Placement
Private works are created for collectors, distinguished interiors, and culturally engaged patrons who value objects of lasting material and aesthetic significance.
They may be developed as:
- Individual statement pieces
- Interior-integrated works
- Collector-focused objects with historical reference
Each commission is approached with consideration for proportion, setting, and long-term relevance.
Availability
Availability is highly limited. Private works are not publicly listed, and details are shared only upon request.
Creation Timeline
Each piece is meticulously handcrafted over a period of 3–6 months. For highly complex or museum-level commissions, the creation process may extend to up to one year, reflecting the precision and multiple kiln firings required.
