This Painted Enamel ‘Flowers’ Pink-Ground Bowl captures the artistic brilliance and refined taste that flourished during the Kangxi reign — a golden age of porcelain innovation. The bowl features lush floral motifs rendered in luminous enamels on a radiant rose-pink ground, symbolizing beauty, prosperity, and renewal. Each piece is handcrafted using traditional imperial enameling methods, painted with natural mineral pigments, and fired up to 1280 °C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond. Under the Kangxi Emperor’s direction, artisans mastered the early fusion of Chinese porcelain artistry with Western painting and color technology, achieving subtle tonal gradations and a sense of natural depth.

About the Item
Description
The bowl has deep and slightly flared sides, decorated on the exterior with four five window panels the colour of a fair morning sky, each revealing respectively, narcissus with cinnamon rose, hibiscus, poppy with tuberose, and gardenia with mallow, each cluster with its characteristic stem and leaf, the panels reserved on a radiant pink enamel ground studded at the rim with single chrysanthemum sprays overturned, their petals dramatically jutting out towards the viewer, encircled round the footring by broad green leaves overlapping blue petals, centred with a multi-coloured florette, the interior left white.

The returned/exchanged product must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. Special order items cannot be returned.
As soon as you return your item to us and it's received into our system, we will expeditiously send a refund request to your bank. Please note that while the funds are instantly deducted from our account, some banks may take 5-7 business days to process and post these refunds to your account.
