Qing Dynasty Qianlong Emperor (1736–1795) official kiln porcelain vase. This Blue and White ‘Bajixiang’ Handled Vase exemplifies the harmony of imperial symbolism and refined craftsmanship. Painted in rich cobalt-blue underglaze, the surface is adorned with the Eight Buddhist Emblems (Bajixiang, 八吉祥) — representing prosperity, virtue, peace, and spiritual enlightenment.
The graceful handled form enhances both function and beauty, recalling the ceremonial vessels of the Qing court. Each vase is handcrafted using traditional imperial kiln techniques, painted with natural mineral cobalt pigments, and fired up to 1280°C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond. This masterpiece reflects the imperial devotion to auspicious meaning, precision, and balance — hallmarks of Qianlong’s golden porcelain era.

Of baluster form with angled shoulder, sweeping up to a waisted neck and flanged rim, set with two archaistic dragon-handles, decorated around the exterior with lappet bands of lotus, bajixiang, ruyi and plantains, and waves.
