Qing Dynasty Yongzheng Emperor (1723–1735) official kiln porcelain dish. This Enamel ‘Prunus Blossom’ Dish reflects the early Qing court’s pursuit of grace and perfection. The surface is delicately painted with white prunus branches against a soft enamel ground, symbolizing renewal, purity, and resilience — timeless virtues celebrated by scholars and nobility alike.
Each piece is handcrafted using imperial enamel techniques and natural mineral pigments, then fired up to 1280°C in kiln to be finished products, keeping forever like a diamond. Under Yongzheng’s refined aesthetic vision, artisans began mixing traditional Chinese enamel art with Western painting and color technology, creating smooth tonal gradations and radiant luminosity unique to this era.

About the Item
Description
The dish is exquisitely enamelled on the exterior with branches of flowering prunus growing from the foot of the shallow dish on the exterior, extending over the rim to the interior, where the main branch arches elegantly to the top of the dish and a lower branch returns over the rim to decorate the exterior, bearing clusters of prunus in full blossom and in bud form, each flower delicately painted in luscious pink tones with yellow dotted stamen and in pale yellow, contrasting to superb effect with the green foliage of bamboo, inscribed in black enamel with a seven-character poetic stanza in running script describing the scene, accompanied by three ruby painted sealmarks, Jiali, Shougu and Xiangqing.

The returned/exchanged product must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. Special order items cannot be returned.
As soon as you return your item to us and it's received into our system, we will expeditiously send a refund request to your bank. Please note that while the funds are instantly deducted from our account, some banks may take 5-7 business days to process and post these refunds to your account.
